Overnight, another video of a hacker in action has gone viral, this one seemingly showing off a new tactic previously unseen in the game. From the footage shared by Twitter user and Twitch partner, Yungstaz6, we can see a suite of new tricks being employed by the hacker. It looks like one particularly brash player has night-vision goggles in Warzone for some reason, can toggle permanent live pings on his enemies, and has the ability to change their in-game name. Take a look at the footage below. In a follow-up tweet, Yungstaz6 shares a clip of the baffled lobby chatting with the hacker who says they’ve had access to the cheats ‘for five months’, though apparently, the hacks are ’not for sale’. Worse yet, over on Reddit, another clip has surfaced that appears to show another hacker using an aimbot, night-vision goggles (again) and somehow manages to boot everyone from the game when he dies. Take a look at that below.
This is just the latest in the game’s persistent issue with hackers. Back in March, we saw an issue with players that managed to figure out how to end Warzone matches whenever they felt like it. Developer Raven Software is fighting hard to get control of the game, and has committed to monthly updates regarding cheating, and has even increased the frequency and severity of its ban waves in an effort to stem the hackers. Here’s hoping things get a bit better before the big Warzone nuke event that’s set to usher in Season 3 on April 21.
