If you’re the sort of player that gives a hoot about your newly-revised trophy score and harvesting as many awards as possible on the PlayStation family of consoles, you’re probably going to have the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Platinum (called Masters of the Multiverse) in your sights. Given that the Ratchet & Clank reboot in 2016 offered a fairly easy Platinum trophy, it stands to reason the sequel will be similar. From what we’ve seen so far, it certainly looks achievable. In a Twitter thread (starting in the tweet embedded above), the developer shares some of the key trophies you’ll need to unlock on your quest to get the Platinum. As ever, the trophies seem designed to show off some of the game’s unique mechanics: “Does This Make My Tail Look Big?” asks you to equip armor on the Lombax’s head, torso, and leg. “Fully Stacked” asks you to purchase all weapons – a key part of any Ratchet & Clank game – and “Nooks and Crannies” wants you to collect 5 Gold Bolts (so get used to sniffing out hidden items). “Glitch, Uh, Finds a Way” will require you to ‘Complete all Glitch Challenges’, though what they are specifically – and how many exist – remains to be seen. Last week, Insomniac showed off some of the weapons you will use in the game and gave us a quick tour of the multiverse we’ll be tasked with exploring, too. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was announced in June last year and will arrive exclusively for PS5 on June 11.
